I guess since you all are now curious... I will explain my situation.
I was driving through Kentucky... and that in itself is dangerous.
I was going up a hill on the interstate and I started to hear my RPM's go erratic... and I could literally hear my exhaust coming on and off.
I pulled into the gas station... and I popped my hood to make sure my header was still bolted up... and surely enough, it was. So I started to look down some more and saw that my downpipe was a half inch or so down from where it needed to be to stay on.
You couldn't pay me enough money to touch my downpipe after I had been driving for hours... so I asked around the gas station for something with a hook shaped end on it (mind you, this was 3am in the morning, in Kentucky, at a gas station). One guy that was in front of me in line to pay for gas, who had to have been gay (was showing off a fairy like tattoo above his butt to the cashier.. that he just got that night) said that he may have something with a hook shaped end... he brung... the umbrella.
I didn't question it because it looked like I could actually use this thing, and I knew I could make it work.
I got underneath my car, and hooked on to my downpipe... and yanked hard enough for it to knock back and poke me right in the eye... busting it open.
Good thing was though... that my downpipe did come off... and I put it in the back of my car... and ran open header for the last 3 hours of my trip.
Yippee... I hate Kentucky, every vehicle I have ever drove through Kentucky, has broken down. I have an 88 Blazer that sits on the side of interstate 65 because I blew a tranny just outside of Louisville... thats a true story.
