I need all the help I can get on this one. Today I was finally ging to get my AVCR hooked up like it was when I bought the car. I unplugged the ECU to get a better look at what wires wnet where. Needless to say it was all correct and all i needed to do was to find the power wire i first took out and hook taht back up. I happed in my car to go drive to a local vatozone which is no less than 2 minutes from my house.

While driving my car keeps bucking and spitting. At first I thought it was stillm more bad gas but I remembered I got all that out. the whole way home it was being tempermental and would not stop bucking intermitently.

I remembered that ut wasnt runnig this way yesterday, it was perfict yesterday. I thought maby it was one of the connections to the ecm but I cant find a bad connection. All these problems started after I took out the ecu and put it back in.

I have a video but no host. Can someone help me host the video and figure what the heck is going on with the darn car! Im getting pissed with its behavour lately... This girl is going to be the end of me.

try uploading your video to photobucket.com... wish i had an answer, but i am sure one of the senior guys will chime in once the video is up. good luck.
Edit: seeing the video, i think a bigger problem is the valvetrain noise.

Walbro 255 fuel pump. Injector tick is loud as fuck. The thing was ok before the AVCR. I bought the car with the AVCR installed. I took out some of the phone connectors that was holding it together. The AVCR works now but Im still having problems.

Brent, The door light was off! :icon_bigg

regardless if it was hooked up or not, you were in that area and now you have a problem. from reading your post it appears it was hooked up except the power? and you did that today? not sure how well it was hooked up before and merely moving wires around could be grounding out a signal or anything. i would relook the wiring, connections, or even go as far as unplugging the avcr.

and another thing, it appears your check engine light is flashing? hard to tell the steering wheel is in the way.

Is that why its so loud? That would explain why I keep dropping all 6 cyllanders. Im thnking about draning the gas tank but Im not sure where the drain plug is. Also, Brent, would you advise a new fuel pump. I took out the AVCR and its still doing this. The car sat outside for 6 months during the rain season. Might that be the route of all evil?

Well you can test the pump.
Either remove the feed from the tank, and attach a rubber hose from the tank to a bucket.
(Or from the AFPR if you had one.)
Then on the diagnostic block jumper it for the FP to switch on.

You can see if it's pumping erratically.

I haven't seen your wiring harness, so I don't know if you really hacked it up or not... but it just makes sense that after the AVCR installation you may have damaged some wires.

HTH.

ps.

I've heard MUCH LOUDER walbros before.
They just make that sound when water has been through them, it could be fine. (With just my experience... I don't know for sure.)

The wiring harness isnt hacked up at all, I used jumper connectors? You put an intact wire thru them and a spliced on on the other side. There allow you to keep a wire intact while alloing a connection to be made.

I think I may still have residule water in the tank. Ill see what happnes.
