Supra wins on "Pinks" reminder Show time-

I hate to say this but I think we might need to show a tad bit more class in the Speed forums. Maybe that's just me though.

Or maybe Speed could start showing a little more diversity in their broadcasting. 23 1/2 hours of NASCAR-oriented shit with a half hour chunk of a mustang vs. mustang pinks race isn't exactly my idea of good television.

Yes, the FAIL epifailsode that aired with the Failstang vs AMCfail,
Was raced at the same track and same night as the Supra vs Chevelle.

But I'm quite pissed off. I've been looking forward to seeing this for a while.

I've already registered on the Speed Channel/Pinks and am very disappointed in The Fail Channel not airing the right episode. :nono:

Funny thing is, they have a small 1 min trailer about the supra race on the speedtv website, so it must have been a good enough episode for them to be advertising it. Let's hope they play it in the next episode

There is nothing wrong with Mustangs...till they occupy 90% of the show. Then it becomes painful.

The entire Supra community has been failed tonight by the people at SPEED. We all tuned in to watch Shawn Cassidy's Supra race a Chevelle. We did this because it was unique and interesting. However, we were disappointed and forced to view another pathetic Mustang episode. Everyone I talk to hates the show because of the lack of diversity in the cars racing.

Please learn how to keep a show interesting and add some variety to your program.

my feedback for speed:

So why in your infinite wisdom ditch the supra episode of pinks? There are several threads on Supraforums and Supramania about this race. Many members, self included, that were looking forward to this episode and made special plans to watch it. Speed has been slipping over the past few years in our opinion and we all viewed this as an uptick from the usual 22 hours of NASCAR coverage. Much of your current programming is absolutely terrible (namely Unique Whips, Street Tuner Challenge - a show no self repecting import enthusist would watch, afore mentioned NASCAR) and with the minor glimmers of light (Barrett-Jackson, bits and pieces of decent racing - ALMS, F1, Pikes Peak) SPEED barely remains watchable. SPEED has become known in the automotive world as little more than the transportation branch of Country Music TV. Spike TV has better automotive programming than you! I see no reason to push my local cable provider to carry SPEED any longer and if need be will take a smaller bill each month with the drop of your channel.
