supra weight?

i have an 89 supra and i'm wondering how much it weighs minus the motor and trans. every thing else is intact. or if you know the weight with the motor and trans that would be fine too.

its a parts car, i plan on striping it of good parts and either scrapping or selling as shell with what ever parts.

tranny and motor are around 500+ lbs.

So you are saying the motor is only 350+/- pounds? A tranny is between 100 and 150, depending on which it is.

You'll get $200 or so in a scrap yard for it. My info comes from the guys I normally let haul my shells away after a part out. They could be low-balling me to keep me from trying to do it myself. I strip mine quite a bit, so you could also do better if you don't strip the whole car first.

sounds about right! but I haven't not weighed a dry motor.
