Well its a pretty boring story, i was driving with my gf to the nail place or whatever down this hill by my house. My friend was following in his gf's mustang (v6) and i pull up to this twin turbo VR4 at a stoplight. I don't look at him so i don't look intimidating. Ovcourse my gf thinks I'm too cocky about my car and she says "That is a NIICE car and it would whoop the SHIT outta this car". So i say um no, just watch :evil2: Do you guys know how even if u DONT look over and are staying ahead of the person next to you and don't let em ge further infront, well thats what I did. THEN IT WAS ON!!! lol, I had the jump on him then about 200 ft down he pulls ahead by about a "hood length" being the rear end of his hood at my front. Then i hauled on the brakes and wasnt going to go over the speed i was going DOWN a hill and AROUND A CORNER (also adding how much my car weighs). I look behind me as im braking and my friend is waaaay back there! So pretty much i lost but not by far.

I'm sure you can win against a vr4, they're pretty heavy. But then again since they have twin turbos and it's 320hp. I guess it really depends on the driver.

There are a few VR4's running around with upgraded turbo's on them. Mitsubishi even made the larger turbo's a bolt on affair, with few other mods besides larger down pipes and exhaust tubing size.

The intake side really benefits from using a Maft, or Maft Pro, as they also used a Karmann wave signal to meter fuel/air.

So, upgrade the intake side, larger intercoolers, bigger injectors and the bolt on larger turbo's and the are very formidiable cars indeed. IIRC, sold 450awhp is not out of the question on pump gas.

There are a few out there with even larger turbo's making 600+, but those are not nearly as common.
