I was checking some staff for my supra when there was a guy checking @ the strut tower braces. I asked the guy about his car and he told me that it's a 91 supra turbo 5 speed with stock turbo ,boost control at 15 psi,hks DP, ported turbo elbow.
Ic Spearco InterCooler, HKS Dragger exhaust, Blitz air intake and AEM cam gears. i told him I have a 87 supra. We were leaving the store when a friend of mine who has a 96 trans am asked this guy to race him and the guy in the supra said ok. No nitrous. The guy in the supra wanted to check the hood of the trans am and he was like ok no turbo , no SC.
We went to race close to Huntington beach. When the light turned green the trans am got the jump but in 3rd gear the supra and the trans am were pretty even until 4th gear when the trans am won by a nose.
I told my friend to race him again but from a roll this time and he was like no way. The guy in the supra says he was pushing around 300 rwhp. The trans am is a 96 with just bolts on.
