i appreciate all the props guys. i was pretty crushed the day that it happened.

my best friend in high school had a 91 in mint shape and his got totaled and ever since i wanted one. when i found this car it was sitting in utah and it was in such good shape i flew out to see it and drove it home to ohio. this girl took a showroom supra to pieces and it will never be the same but it'll do for now.

i might be picking up a new shell and a new 1jz this weekend. if so there maybe a swap in the future if anyone wants to buy this car with the 1j keep an eye on the FS threads ;)

I'd give you props if your license plate didn't lead me to believe that you were a 19K. :sarcasm:

More scout scum huh? We call you guys crunchies cuz thats the sound you make when you get caught in the tracks...makes a terrible mess. j/k :icon_bigg What unit are you with?

I'm a 19 Delta now, I had to reclass or change units. I get a lot of shizer going to my armory (now all scouts) with a license plate that says TANKER. I just tell them that I may have been forced to reclass but on the inside I'm still a fat, lazy, don't-wanna-walk-anywhere tanker at heart and they can never take that away!

DEATH BEFORE DISMOUNT uhh I mean SCOUTS LEAD THE WAY err uhh oh wtf ever!

I too thought this was going to be a RIP thread but was very pleasantly surprised to see a resurrection. So you replaced the core support, but what about the frame rails? I'm sure they were crushed. Did yall straighten them yourselfs or weld news on?

The car looks fantastic. Good job.

never fun, speaking of which.....

after this whole year-long process of putting it back together, i shit you not, I got this car back out of paint shop on a thursday and drove it to the track in columbus, ohio for a viper nationals meet that my brother was driving in. when we were all leaving the track saturday night for the hotel one of my buddies rear ended me!!!! it never freakin ends...

i am angling to get a new shell altogether for it soon and then it'll be put in a garage and only come out when i have a police escort all around me that would give the president warm fuzzies.

i'll have to double check, it was a few years ago but i'm pretty sure the frame rails survived! keep in mind....

1. i hit a saturn, thats really one step up from drilling a Huffy
2. it was raining so when we hit we had some slippery pavement to slide on to absorb some of the blow.

it was still running after the hit. i'm fairly certain, had firefighters not pried my hood open to cut the battery cables, i could have drove it home from the accident. Take it from me, these cars are solid.
