My Newly bought 89 Supra Turbo is now stalling. The guy i purchased from said he ran 93 octane gas since the engine was rebuilt 15,000 miles ago. I put 87 octane gas in it and it doesn't run correctly now. Could this octane change cause the engine to stall?

Thanks

i dont think i would make it stall, unless its bad gas. By the way it is a bad idea to run anything less than 91... ive learned that the hard way...

The only thing ive changed is the gas so that has to be it.

Problem Solved.... I guess a car runs better with gas in it........Gas Gauge dosen't work

Yea ive noticed alot of cars run alot better with gas...

New trend going around i guess.

We should sticky this =P

I wouldn't doubt that alot of honda forums have this kinda info stickied haha.
