Well crapola, I'll be in town pretty much all day on the 8th visiting the parents, just looking to get out and have some car fun

I vote for one of our gracious Corvallis-dwellers to make a thread in the PacNW section with a real date and time and everything, let's get this party started

Dad's Weekend is October 27-29, so we can't do that weekend as Corvallis will be very busy. I'd like to set a date that isn't right away too so that it is less likely for people to already have plans. If people interested could post what weekend days they can not come, that'd be helpful.

Possible weekend dates:

Oct 14/15
Oct 21/22
Nov 5 (home football game on Saturday)
Nov 11/12
Nov 18/19


I should be able to make any of these dates, though there might be something going on that I've forgotten about.

Also you guys are making this way to difficult. Its not like its SILV or something. Eugene is 45min away. Lets just pick a weekend and see who can make it, then plan to have 1 night (like every 3rd Saturday of the month or something like that) where its a regular thing, and people can plan ahead.

And I think Parents weekend is the perfect time. The town will crowded yes, but that means more exposure for us. We can always change the meet location to someplace less crowded, and then go cruise DT or marys peak or whatever from there.

let your dad know the more you drive it, the worse it's going to screw over your chances of actually rebuilding.

I don't have anything else to drive, I was thinking of getting a used motor.

See if you can get a trustworthy mechanic to tell your dad that it needs to be fixed.

I've been trying to find one for the last couple months.
There was a guy on here who has a business "Fast1 Motorsports" and it is near here, like 10 minutes away, but they stopped responding to my e-mails and pm's about getting it rebuilt. They kept telling me that they were running the numbers, but it turns out that the numbers never made it to me.
