I'm guessing you just have the common leaking valve cover gaskets. Did you check before you removed the spark plugs, if the valley was full of oil?
You'd smoke like a biatch if you were actually getting that much oil in the combustion chamber on a regular basis.

If your valve covers are leaking, then your spark plug wires are probably toast as well.

That was on my mind Hopeing it wouldn't turn out to be one

well three off the wires had been in the oil the other 3 are fine. The ones that have been in the oil are not reusable? Guess i can't dry them off in anyway? Well guess i if i can't reuse them I'll have to get another set. Another set of plugs correct?
