A couple of months ago my dad and I bought an 86 p-type supra from some dumb ass kid who didn't have the knowledge or money to put the car back together after the previous owner beat it to hell. We are intending to race the car so i have been doing some maintenance as well as gutting the interior. I have found quite a few interesting things...

Night one... i found some random shit, but the most interesting was a dead sea snail that looked like it was alive at some point in time. How did it get in there? I have no idea... Car has no rust or anything to make me think it was under water at some point...

Night two... I pull the upper part of the driver door apart and a shit load of papers fall out onto the floor. There were 3 or 4 old pay stubs and more interestingly... about 7-8 pawn shop receipts... Apparently the dude was in desperate need of money... I guess everyone has been there once or twice.

Night three (tonight)... I just finish the rear wheel bearings and decide to take some more of the interior apart... I pull the center console up and what falls out?

lol f'ing awesome.

Looks like a crack pipe and some crack residue to me but I'm certainly no expert on the subject. Apparently the dude was pawning his stuff off for some drug money.

You are some crazy folks. :iocrunks2:

That stuff is bad news, because of my job, I have seen what that shit turns a person into. The supra is a better drug, although i don't know if it's cheaper. I never heard of anyone robbing a 7/11 for a new intercooler setup.

Ha. Yeah needless to say my jaw hit the floor when i realized what that stuff was. I've been around a few people who have messed around with drugs but i've never seen anything that hardcore in person.

Really makes me want to gut my mk3 and see what kind of wierd crap is floating around in there.

I found lots of weird stuff in my MK3's...Combs, condoms, trading cards, lots of wrappers, OLD hair gel...and lots of other stuff...I also found a super old tire pressure gauge that was still in it's original box, and unopened. :)

in my s13 240sx i had before supra... under my driver seat was a disc golf frisbee turned upside down and slid into the bottom of the seat above the rails on top of the wires that run across. i pulled it out for mere curiosity and found seeds and marijuana residue and the like. that was kinda wierd..

crack pipe, and crack heads are everywhere and they can drive anything. Fortunatly for you, you didnt get pulled over and searched or you would have been in trouble. Im willing to bet you got the supra for pennies on the dollar ;)

lol actually I paid a grand... the thing is immaculate though.

Are those wheels 15's? They look odd for some reason...
Actually those were ae86 corolla gts wheels... I'm telling you... That dude was in some serious need for money... He sold the stock p-type wheels, which are apparently an upgrade for the corolla, to some guy for the wheels pictured and some cash.

The wheels in the pic are 14x6 with 185/60/14 tires. Since that pic was taken i sourced a set of 14x7 p-type wheels and have the proper size tire on there (225/60/14). The difference in look and feel was amazing.

Good catch though.
