Eli,
I'm weird in the sense I did both at the same exact time bought and moved into the house and brought my never ending project home a few weekends later. However number ONE priority the entire time was the house. However I'm confused last time we talked you were going to look at renting/lease option that townhome on 54? If that is the case to me you are making a lateral move from renting an apartment to renting a townhome(unless it is the lease option). Granted in A LOT better area. With the market the way it is you could/should start renting for basically nothing out of pocket tell them to stick their deposits etc. So then basically you could keep the supra and just be extremely disciplined in saving money and NOT putting money into the supra. You'll recoup the money spent to buy it and more in no time and then when you find a house to purchase or go to excerise the option if you go the lease option route you'd have both.

Just my .02.

I say buy a house, keep the supra, and MOD THE HOUSE :) Make your garage the way you want it with the exception of the GF permission or negotiation before hand. THEN mod the supra. :)

PS its a crap shoot to wait and see if the housing market is going to get worse. Yes it looks like it will and yes i agree it will but how much longer till it gets better no one can say. I say look for houses now, if u find something work to get it and when the time comes youmay have more then what you expected to have it and fix it up a big :)
