Congrats. Way to represent the MKIII. I posted a short video of Pinks on youtube and it got reported so I'm guessing there's a few people looking for these vids.

I usually watch Pinks with my girlfriends dad but he has a 67 Chevelle. So I can't tell him the turnout of it. I would love to see the look on his face when March rolls around. :evil2:

Supra beat chevelle by a car 1st race

Chevelle got 2nd race by a nose, but it had 2 car headstart

1 more for supra and one more for chevelle. tie so far

another one for each. 3 to 3!

such a nasty race, shawns car is god like on top end, and god it felt good to hear all those domestic lovers talk shit then see them sit the fuck down when shawn showed them what was up.

funny it takes 2 power adders to beat one

Who has two? Saying the supra has nitrous? I doubt it. I could be wrong but all the crews shirts said 'all boost no juice'

I know in the rear he had a fuel cell and I believe the tank for the water to air intercooler setup, but I'm pretty sure it has no n2o. What don't you get? N2o is different than a supercharger or turbo. You don't "run out of" boost. While all are "power adders", n2o is the odd ball out imo. Shit, that phrase is so loose, race gas is a "power adder"

hats because the chevelle driver couldnt drive. Cassidy would have had each and every race if it wasnt for his wastegate issues. Hell, they even gave the chevelle guy the right (good) lane and the dude still fucked up one of his three launches. He almost landed into the wall. I see it being a great race. you have a turbod no nitrous 6 cyl supra versus a BB v8 chevelle with like a 175 shot of nitrous (that they refilled after every race iirc)

Well from what I saw, every race the Chevelle would be ahead during the start and the supra would pull hard the rest of the track.

the only thing i saw regarding the supra was the ice for the air to water IC also, they had a sweet beer can rigged setup for a boost hose. i did see a bottle come out of the chevelle after every race though

Supra was all boost (had a wastegate problem and a hose problem) Chevelle was a SB with a good size shot of nitrous. Traction was horrible, Shaun would ease it off the line and real him in hard, Chevelle could hook a lot better but the car was very sloppy, all over the place. Chevelle was always looking for the upper hand 1 1/2-2 car lead. Shaun gave the guy his car back. Extremely fun time.

the chevelle was NOT a Big block it was a small block 383 stroker with nitrous. shawns car is only turbo NO juice.... 2 of the runs he had no Boost at all running 6 cyl and only lost by 8 cars to a nitrous v8.....thats not bad considering. Its funny that the big bad nitrous v8 was taking lengths the guy didnt expect that car to do that at all when we talked to him after.... Oh and the stand up guy shawn is he gave the car back to the guy im sure the guy wouldnt of been so nice to him.
