ok just did a compression check on my 87 turbo and the compressions were 1-2-3-6 were around 120 and 4-5 were less than 90. spark plugs 1-3-4-5-6 were all red in color and 2 had oil deposits on it. i just changed the hg in january and have only driven the car maybe a month max. so i think it is time for a rebuild or i might even put my n/a block from my wrecked supra into my 87 and just do a na-t. wut do u guys think? its either that or sell the thing and get another car, which i will be doing maybe a 4dr luxury sedan, and just have the supra as a project car.

Depends on what you wanna do, you want a lot of power where you'll need the power? Or just drop in a jdm 7m? Do you like the Supra as a daily driver? What are your goals with the car, and I can give you a more accurate answer?

i bought an ls400 :) selling all of what you have can get you one of those, or even one and a running supra :)

now i dont think the car is dead just the motor. i do plan on dropping in my 7mge in it and doing a na-t. oh i also forgot to mention that yesterday i did get it to run and start but it was idling really rough. so i did get to drive it aruond the block once but barely made it bake to my house, and when i get back to my house i popped the hood and what do i see? my #3 spark plug wire and boot were on fire i was like wtf is thsi and htf did this happen. i guess ill have better luck with my na-t swap. and then i may do a rebuild on my turbo block seeing that i do have the turbo block in the car now and another spare turbo block. if i do, do a rebuild it may not start till the summer.
