My Supra 2yrs Old now. Bought it w/ a Blown Head Gasket and Rebuilt my engine. Guy @ the dealership said it was perfect! But what a liar that dude! The mileage was only 70K at the time so that was the greatest! I've done a lot of work to it since. Can't seem to post pics at the moment, but will ASAP!!! :naughty:

So I sold my 240sx. I needed to sell it since I had dreamed about driving a Supra for some time. (Someday an mkiv, but for now, gotta love my MK3!)

But Make no mistake about it...I MISS my 240sx :icon_frow

So 2 Mos. once I got her, i started to take her apart. I noticed a lot of "water noise" coming from the dashboard...realized after it was all related to a BLOWN HEAD GASKET. My reservoir coolant tank was also now a brownish color. The coolant had now mixed with the oil....BAD!

I would keep putting coolant in the reservoir and the pressure build up of the engine, after shutting down, would spit all the extra coolant out...and some! So it was off to learning everything I could about my 7MGTE in order to fix the problem...and behold...MY PROJECT BEGAN!

Thanks, but I have completed rebuilding my Supra now. Actually, I got a lot of help just reading threads here. That's why I want to post my recorded progress, I just will be doing it a little at a time, since it's somewhat time consuming. Thanks again!!!! For future references, however, I sure will be taking your advice.

You bet! Good luck dude. Keep me posted on your progress...can't wait to someday make it a manual :naughty:

Hope yours came in good shape. I had to vacuum mine big time! When I got her, she was so FULL of dog hair and had a stench about her too. The car was very clean inside though, just had a smell and dog hairs everywhere...it's all. I hated that, but for a SUPRA, I was willing to go to any measures. She also had rust spots which made me hate her previous owners about that :: angry :: idiots! But, I got rid of all those minor details now, and still have lots of work to do.

I just want to completely restore my SUPRA and add a little HP while I'm at it, while making her as clean as possible at the same time. 7MGTE rules!
