are they worth the money/installation time?

same question, are they effecient? it just so happens my passenger side headlight assembly's screwed, so when i grab a new one i might be lookin into jdm vents like that if they do more than just lookin good.

4 holes that screw them on ... , , I think most pple put them on for looks, since I see pple put them on the driver side,,

just helps get colder air i guess to your air intake....

I have one of these and even with the modifications you will see so little difference with this headlight cover that it isn't even worth it to ask if this is a functional piece or not.

They do look cool though.

My favorite part about that auction - it pops up regularly - is that the headlight cover they show does not match the picture of the installed headlight cover. Think about it.

I made my own ;)
Cut the outline with a cutoff wheel...carefully bend it down...weld two side pieces...a little bondo and wire mesh later, you have vents.

For these to be functional, you have to cut the top headlight support the width of the vent...then have to fab a bracket to connect the two side so your headlights stay steady over a bumpy road. My vents will actually let air into the engine bay.

Not a great pic, but you get the idea. Note there are no raised ridges on the sides/aft of the vent.
