Did you check for ECU codes? Just because the CEL is off doesn't mean there are not codes stored.

Since there are no codes, I suspect the ISCV. Here's the TSRM link to it:
http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=FI&P=106

Check for proper operation and clean the carbon off the valve and valve seat (you will have to disassemble the ISCV to do this).

If cleaning the ISCV doesn't fix it, I would take a look at the EGR system:
http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=EC&P=12

If the EGR is supplying exhaust gas to the intake manifold at ilde, it will run like crap.

Neither of these problems will throw a code.

okay so i fixed it! well it was the intake tube seems like my exhaust manifold was hot really hot doesn't have heat shield...my bad (plus while in nevada heat) melted a hole into the tube the round bulgy part (i have an N/A) so i silliconed it and taped it around(for now..) and it turned on idles like a kitten so i just need to go buy a new intake tube thingy YAY ME!

Your exhaust cooked a hole in the resonator? wow, never heard of that happening. Get a heat shield on that thing.

LOL...that was easy ;)
Basically you were getting a boat load of unmetered air into the system. Not the AFM like the guys suggested earlier, but damn close.

i know i was panicking i swapped like three different afms (that work perfect) so i was like WTF MATE! i had just about given up on my soupy technically my pops was the one that decided to take of the resonator so the credit go's to him i would have never thought i got a melted hole under there
