This morning as I was heading out to class I got in to the Supra and tried to start it up as usually, only this time it would'nt run. It cranks but thats all it will do.

Any suggestions?:icon_bigg

Ok I just tried pulling the EFI fuse and it did not work.

How would I test if the fuel pump is working? Would I have to remove the gas tank?

Also if it matter, my car was running great yesturday and this is the first problem I've ever had with it.

Pulling the EFI fuse does not fix cars. It clears fuel trim, which you can do on your own, clears stores diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's), and that is about it. If JJ has anything to add to that, then fine. Pull your EFI fuse after fixing, and after pulling codes. You do that to make sure it isn't an old code.

Based on many of these threads on this forum, the suggestion of pulling codes and looking for 14, and wiggling the CPS wires is a good place to start. So those were good suggestions.

Heh ...You guys were right.:icon_bigg

Turns out it was the cps. I just tried wiggling the wires, cranked it and the Supra started right up.

good deal

you might want to go ahead and fix it right. it will keep happening if you dont, and always at the worst time.

you can either buy new clips and pins from toyota to replace it all, you can hardwire it bypassing the clips, or make your own clip.

you can take it apart and bend the clips so they make bettery contact. but ive found that to only work for so long as well.

lastly, before you take anything apart take note of the wire colors. they dont match up to each other.
