I dont really mean "cheap" but i am curious on what is the most bang for you buck, i dont wanna spend a lot of money on parts that dont make a difference until i have to purchase them, i dont mind saving up for parts i just wanna make good progress on the car

a 57 trim is around 6 or 7 hundred last time I checked driftmotion's website, and that includes core. Cheaper would be a downpipe, exhaust and IC piping, that'll wake her up and still be relatively "cheap"..

good luck man, like they all say fast, cheap, reliable: pick 2. Don't go in over your head, and try not to get too power hungry if you don't have a decent budget to get it done right. In my experience most worthwhile upgrades require more than one piece so plan on collecting all the pieces and do it all at once or do the upgrades where they are part of the bigger goal but can work with what you have now, IE: intercooler, exhaust, radiator, fuel pump.

i have been running the hks fcd for years, never had an issue, BUT i am very picky and keep a VERy close eye on my motor ALL the time. its a good product imo, but its not an easy "slap it on and crank it up" upgrade. i have other mods to support eliminating the fc.

Having said that, the 7M is a very unforgiving motor in terms of tolerances

That is true of any engine.

If the engine is healthy, and you get around fuel cut and have a good down pipe and exhaust, get a manual controller like this. This was $30.00 and held 13 psi on the CT26. Just not on the T04E compressor.

If you remember the old HKS staging system, here is a dyno sheet using equivalent mods.
