I've never experienced anything like this first hand but a tragedy has happened to one of my close friends recently and its very upsetting to see. I extend my deepest condolences to you and everyone in your family...

hi guys-
i just saw this thread. i havent been on here much except to reply to a few pm's.
i really appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers and support. it has been tough the past few days, but the visitation is tonite and the funeral tomorrow. i think thats when its really gonna hit home.
it means a lot to have everyone behind me in these tough times.

my condolances Dave. I know what you are going thru. My dad just passed away a few weeks ago . Its tuff man. It didnt hit home or feel real for me until the viewing too.
Steve's got ur back, man. He sent me note letting me know your Dad passed.
Very sorry to hear. My dad passed when i was 4, so i really have no idea how you must feel, and no wish to ever find out...although my mom is 73 and 100 lbs overwt so i keep myself braced...heading down to florida sunday to take care of minor repairs to her house and visit for a week. Enjoy every minute with her these days..lots diff than when we were 18 and couldn't wait to leave home, huh?
We do what they taught us and pass it on...that's a pretty cool tribute.

Sorry to hear about your loss, I'm not all with the pray thing, but you have my greatest condolences.

Its very hard when a parent dies. First everything is a shock and confusion. Then comes the missing them alot part and wishing you could have spent more time with them or done more. I know I did. But keep heart and be strong.
