OK sorry I havent been talking much but I have been working with the supercharger manufacturer. I am trying to work out the best rate on the superchargers as I can. Meaning how many do I have to buy to get this all at or around 1000 bucks. Plus I have an mechanical engineer working with me on the design of the supercharger body. When we get what specs we want and that will work the best the manufacturer is going to review the plans. They have assured me that the 1000 dollar mark is obtainable. I will post more and pictures as I can please bear with me.

are we talking about a roots style blower? or a centrifugal supercharger?
cause personally i would love to see what could be done with all of the new parts available to the MK3 + supercharged.

If so count me in, i hear these suckers make some serious power.!!!

Heh, I keep thinking I should log my system with one of those mounted. I'd like to see just how it does effect the numbers.... and I've got the hardware to do it. A manometer wouldn't hurt either though.

I too would like to know how this would be doable for $1000. I'd also like to know why all the interest in a S/C? Sure, the off the line is decent, but the same amount of effort that's required to go turbo is required to add a S/C... where's the benefit?

How is fueling going to be taken care of or will this be limited to 250RWHP unless the buyer coughs up for injectors and tuning equipment? (I suspect this is a bring your own thing as the cost for this alone would be $500+)

it would defintaley just be a 'starter kit' you could say... but thats fine, some people dont wanna go over 250, and for those people who do then they could swap in some huge injections and fuel control and all of that good stuff.

what does it take to swap in the turbo injectors? seems like that would be a good 'upgrade' if this kit ever came out.

Ok no pics no specs no real information so this is locked.

Josh if you can meet any of the above criteria PM me and I'll unlock it so you can provide the information requested.

Sorry if this seems harsh but we get this topic a couple of times a year and quite frankly a $1000 seems very unrealistic to me even if I were building the hardware in my machine shop.
