The TRSM does not show a clear pic of where it goes. It mounts at an angle between the firewall and a mounting point on the steering colum. The conector that goes to the Super monitor readout is not very long so my guess is that it goes on the right side of the steering colum. I have one to install as well. Purchased it from Z'mnypit here on the forum. He removed it from a car he was parting out perhaps he might remember where "exactly" it was located.

It goes just left of the clutch pedal above the fuse's in the kick panel. Theres two or three studs right there that it mounts to. Hopefully that will help.

oh wait.. i just figured, it ain't gonna mount in mine anyway .. the bracket will be opposite LOL
