super monitor tech/wiring question

i got a sm from a turbo 5sp but i want to wire in the auto side... the sm ecu itself has the pins but the plug doesn't... can i just put the wires in the plug and wire it up?

are auto & 5sp ecu's different or just missing pins in the plug?

Jeff: are you able to run the p/n's on the sm ecus and see if they are indeed different? on gte 5 sp and gte auto

i should think it would work being all the pins are there just not in the plug

The M/T and A/T ECU's are different.

ahh.. well... i'm gonna go on a hunch and wire it up anyhow LOL

we'll see if it works... not sure what it needs auto information for.. i guess that adds in to gas mileage? maybe diagnostic codes?

i've got most of it done, just the ign feeds behind the kickpanel to do and the big test drive of the super monitor!

I think you're right, different fuel mileage maps and probably automatic transmission codes.
