Super bright LEDs for tail lights

Well,tried it again today. I thought maybe one of the bulbs was not secure in the retainer. I put the leds back in,blink there goes the failure box. I then unplugged the LFM and now had NO tail lights. Shee-it! Screw it,just gonna put the stockers back in and save for the clearcorners version!

Well, that's normal. I told you, you have to recal the LFM so it accepts the leds and since the LFM is inline with the tails they won't work when the box is unplugged. If you want to use leds either remove the LFM and bypass as Jeff suggested or change the resistor. It's either that or stay with incans.

same here, i got red LEDs for my rear signals..

looked great during the night, but you couldnt see it in the daytime at all..

Why not wire in a relay to the headlights so you can have the amber in the daytime and red at night?
