Sun Visor Repair

My pass side sun visor just started cracking. I called Toyota and the visor has been discontinued for some time.
Stopped at a couple upholstery shops. One said it could be redone and the other said you cant re upholstery it.
Bought a Napa vinyl repair kit but thought I better ask first before I go and ruin the visor;
What do I do about acracking vinyl sun visor?

You could go to the Classified area and buy a good replacement. What year is your Supra and what interior color ? I may have some laying around in good shape.
Once you do get another one I highly recommend a weekly treatment of Armor All or similar. It can help prevent the aging process ^^

IIRC they aren't discontinued... most dealers don't want to deal with ordering from Japan though...

damn you guys got all the cool shit in your cars. we dont have any lighted sunvisor things in uk cars. well atleast my 87 model doesnt anyway

I called a Toyota parts guru who is a parts manager at a Toyota dealer.
He told me that the part has been discontinued for so long that it doesn't even have a part number any more (he may of meant an updated parts number).
If the part can be ordered I am sure he would like to know how to do it so let us know how to do it so I can tell him.
