Suggestions!

My other car is a Scion tC, fully build head and interals, running a turbonetics kit at 8psi. CHP pulled me over the other day and made me pop my hood. Now I have to go to the State Referee and get my ticket signed off by them. I cant go back to stock (it'll cost $4,000) and I cant afford to pull my car off the street. Any suggetions? Is there a way around the State Referee? (btw, i live in Cali.):1zhelp:

man I've heard the horror stories but that's serious! You don't have anyway to get a stocker and swap it in?

Wow! Never heard of anything like this! Seems like swapping a stock engine would cost some $$$.

Only thing I can think of, is to swap a cheap engine from the junkyard or something for now. Older Camry engine maybe? :dunno:

Are there laws against modifying your vehicle??? I'm confused as to why you need to do the swap.

internals and all that are fine, find a used stock intake/exhaust manifold, and revert the exhaust back to stock, all I can suggest..

Yeah its a project we have been working on. Are you sure internals are fine?.. I dont think so. Thatd be way cheaper. Cams, valves, ported and polished head, low compression pistons,... etc.. pretty much all the internals.. ????

well, I'm sure they do a physical inspection..

you might have to buy some short of fuel management that can lean the car out a bit...

not too sure to be honest, I think they ticket is around $600..?

The ticket doesnt matter. Its just a mission to change the setup. Yeah, im screwed.
