Been readin up on them, can't have a dog or cat in the apartment, so I was looking into getting something else, then I came apon these. They look badass. Anyone have one, or had one. Info would be helpful. Money isn't a factor for me.

Wondering if DT knows about these.....you do seem to have alot of pets.

They seem easy to maintain, Easier than 5 dogs, and prolly cheaper. It seems its preferred to get a pair(male/female) cause they are very social animals.

I knew someone that had a few, but didn't get much info about them. There's always the internet for that kind of research, though!

I'd be afriad to eat chips while watching tv like the Simpsons episode when they get a ton of puppies. Those things could swoop out from no where and steal your chips!

they're alright, but if I were you, I'd look into Bearded Dragons..

I used to breed them, and they're like little dogs...

they each have their own personalities, they shit in their own water bowl like a toilet (make sure you change it) so they're very sanitary, they're omnivorous (i feed mine carrots, lettuce, collard greens, crickets, meal worms and the occasional mouse), and they (atleast mine do) lick your finger like a dog when you put it near their mouths...

they also live relatively long (had one for 5 years since he hatched, and he's still active)...

Man, those things are amazingly cute! I would love to have one.

Razo-I had a bearded dragon, but it got sick and died...same with my green iguana. :( I do, however, have a cat that's 14, and an awesome bunny that's doing great! :D

how old was your beardie?

when they're young, they need UVA AND UVB light to properly digest their food, otherwise it rots in their stomach, and to digest the calcium they ingest..

same with us, the sun makes us produce vitamin K in our bodies..

its also a good idea to "dust" the food with powdered vitamins, to help them grow...

These are very good pets. sociable unlike most small animals. Also they love to cuddle and all that gay crap. And they glide better then a flying squirrel, almost horizontal, it's freaky to see. they can easily be trained to glide across a room to you.
