Learning more as time goes by.. lol.. so now I am trying to figure out AEM Wideband gauges.
I assume that the AEM wideband basically monitors the Air/fuel mixture in the MKIII, but past that I am just wondering how you utilize the info. Does it protect the engine or just warn you if you are running rich or lean? Is it majorly useful for tuning and then just simply a monitor? I tried searching and just trying to wrap my head around this. I thought that on a 7MGTE, the AFM along with the ECU handle that all discreetly.. but then again, that could just make me sound like an idiot.
Anyone have a minute to give me an understandable explanation?
Thanks in advance!
Also.. what the heck is this 2-stepping. Looks like its simply a gimmick to get flames out of the exhaust, but it dont look healthy to me.. lol.
