if you've seen my video of the car (its in the supra videos) you'd see that i throw out more smoke then like a factory lol, but i just found out recently by the previous owner that bigger injectors were used in my car. the pre previous owner is the one who did it so the one who sold me the car isn't sure but he told me that it could be anywhere from 600-800cc fuel injectors so i bought stock fuel injectors to change them.

To be honest, in order to easily get a socket down into the plug holes you'll need to remove the y-pipe from the top of the engine. Take the bolts off, bag them if needed and tape or label and attach to the part they go with so you don't lose them. Once you get the plug wires off you will reveal the plugs themselves and then you can use a socket + extension to get each plug out. Why not also clean the plug valley while they are out, clean the debrise away from the hole carefully not to have it fall into the cylinders.
good luck,
eric

Ive done this 1000 times...

Unbolt the throttle body and you can get to everything. It's really easy. You don't have to unplug the whole thing, just enough so you can swing it aside.

To easily get to the injectors you will have to take off the upper plenum, this will be easy to take off with the Y pipe as long as your get the two bolts on the exhaust side of the head, which mount it, and get all the vac. lines and plugs disconnected

He is running it off a 7MGE ECU, and the P.O put in huge injectors for some reason. He doesn't know what size injectors they put in but replacing them with the 7MGE injectors means he doesn't have to hook up an SAF-C or similar device to scale to fuel, as the ECU will be expecting to see ~295cc injectors.

Yea, I do too but I think they're too big.. they may be like 320's or something, they'd work in a crunch but he might already have some. Plus he'd have to do some more wiring because they're high imp and pre-89 7MGE's ran low imp I believe.

..why would you put 7MGTE injectors in if your ECU is expecting to see 7MGE injectors? Do you have an airflow convertor to scale the difference?

i haven't put in the injectors but i was taking a look at one (i haven't take off the manifold yet) but i looked at them & they look like stock 7M-GE injectors. i've been having issues so i haven't worked on the car yet but i'll keep you updated on whats going on.
