friend was giving me crap about how my car is a POS, (and it is, something breaks every day) and how it was slow, so i retorted its faster than your 240. well today i got a chance to show him it IS faster than a 240, driving back over the river we come to a red light and theres a long stretch after the light before you get to the bridge and a old 89 ish 240 with apparaent damage from too much drifting pulls up. so i tap the pedal just a bit to see if he is interested and he responds. so i tell my friend ok moment of truth and he just shakes his head. so i launched the awd thing and jumped the 240 by a car instantly, drop it into 2nd and hit .9 bar and shot another 2 cars ahead of it (.9 bar after tweeking with ext. wastegate spring a bit) the 240 started to climb on me about 45 but 3rd ended that. didnt feel like going beyond 60 so i cut it there and the 240 just hovered on my rear bumper forever, assuming he wanted to figure out wut my car was, even i was impressed, the amount of force your body goes through when i launch with awd is far more than the supra up until 40mph.
needless to say i showed my proud friend, and the other guy, wut an 87 winter beater with 212k miles on the clock can do.
