Stuck glove box

Any help here would be GREATLY APRECIATED! I use the locking part on glove box alot as I usually have targa off and have my important stuff in there.

anyways key will not open the handle. It will not turn all the way to left.

Try some WD-40. Spray it on the key, then insert and wiggle in the lock.

I had the same problem. I wiggle the key in the lock for a good 10 minutes, until it open.

Try unscrewing the lower panel below the glovebox, and then unscrew the screws holding the hinge of the glovebox, and you should be able to wiggle it loose at the top.

that would work if it would release from the top bar. able to wiggle but it won't release and I believe the lever/arm is inside covered up.:3d_frown:

Well I suck at fixing things. Will probably just get a replacement unless someone has a cure for stuck lock. Thanks for suggestions btw.

when i bought my supra the lock was completely stripped im sure it was the result of a frustrated previous owner trying to open the shit with a screw driver or something
