Hi everyone, I was talking to a local car tuner shop where I live and he said that they had a set of strut bars (front and rear) coming from a JZA70 they are wrecking in japan. I was wondering if those are completely compatable with my GA70? Especially the front one, whether it will clear my 1g-gte since it's different to the engines they were designed to clear.

I come from a land down under
Double A arm suspension front and rear, doesn't have the loads of a McPherson strut front end.

The Bars as designed are useless (they have a single bolt pivot at each end, for them to work/contribute to chassis stiffness they need to be fixed and triangulated) anyone reporting otherwise is suffering from the placebo effect, this has been discussed here many times and I've yet to see anyone provide any real data/proof to back up the claims made.

Same problemo on the German forums this week (talk is about stiffness with the roof removed). I tell them the pivot/susp thing, noone listens. Someone says that the bar is good - they listen. I guess people want to hear "positive" things... Then they go and buy a "quality" product for a lot of money. Luckily it ain't my money going to waste :)
