Just curious as to what most of you are running for street tires? I'm a spirited driver with occasional highway racing, my current build is aimed to be sub 500rwhp @ ~2700lbs. I've been guaging interest in either Nitto Invo's, Falken Azenis rt615's, or BFGoodrich KDW2's.

The rear rim(s) are 18x10, I am more than likely aiming for a 275|35.

I've done a lot of research on the three, and the Invo's seem to have impressive reviews, especially from the guys on the corvette forum.

Thoughts, experience, reviews?

Thanks in advanced, Ali.

How about a DR or is that out of the question? With that much power in a light car, it wouldn't be a bad idea. A street tire, the BFGoodrich KDW2's. :)

I really liked my experience with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's, but that wasn't on a Supra... they were bought more with agility and handling in mind, and in that respect, they were amazing. :D

for a streetable grip tire, like everyone else id say KDW

for a not really streetable tire, Advan A048, but dont plan on driving very long on them

No matter what you are going to have traction problems with 500 hp and street tires.....I will tell you that the Invos are really good tires though...a friend has them on his srt-8 jeep and they grip like crazy, he was spinning the front tires with the stock goodyears and now is pure grip....

WTF?

Explanation and history? It looks like someone cut the tread off the sidewall.

Summer tires. Had under 5k on them, took them off for winter and stored. Put em back on in spring and had a blow out on the hwy. I happened to be on my way home from work, getting off right before my exit when it happened. They wouldn't warranty the tire either. I'm done w/ them. They still had the little feelers on the sides of them.
