Understandable at 18 psi...I'm running less than 9 though. What were your afrs doing during the sputter? I'm not backfiring either.

I think I may have just set up the boost controller like an idiot.

AFR's went stupid lean, but that's because whenever you have a misfire, lots of oxygen gets thrown into the exhaust which fools the AF sensor.

I wish you the best of luck, Adam!

Thanks Steve. Looks like I won't be able to test until next week unfortunately. Heading to LV this afternoon and this pesky job is keeping me from driving my car during the day lol.

I was right, it was 100% stupidity on my part. I set the SPR setting of the boost controller too high. Cut it back to a conservative 4.5 and the problem is completely gone. I've only had the balls to up the boost to 12 psi but holy fuck the car pulls hard. I've never hit 100 mph so easily. This turbo is night and day compared to the poor old CT-26 upgrade. 16 psi should be interesting.

I should be seeing what 16 is all about tonight...

Also, my oil catch can can't get here soon enough. Going from a stock-ish system to venting the valve covers directly to the turbo inlet only (4") turns the turbo inlet into a catch can itself. Unfortunately, all that oil is ending up coming out through the air filter, and is making one hell of a mess.
