Hi this will be hard to describe.. but i'll try anyway..

there is a click/.clunk noise.. everytime i start to brake oorrr turn the wheel more than half a turn (when i am both driving and stopped). sometimes it happens.. sometimes it doesnt.. its coming from the front passanger.

any ideas what it may be? i had the wheel off. and everything looks ok..

nope. its just clicks ONCE when i brake.. and then any more letting go and pressing the brake again does nothing.. untill i drive off and then brake again then it clicks lol hopefully that made sense.

but like i said.. it also makes the exact same noise when i turn too.. so i dont think its the rotor

if its only related to the braking.. then check your brake pad shims... does it click in both directions?

when is clicks when u turn the wheel when not moving, is your foot on the brake also?

I have that problem as well. When I start from a stop, I hear a loud- almost a tap sound, like someone lightly smacked a hammer against a thick piece of metal. I haven't investigated it much yet, but i imagine it has something to do with the brake pads/ shims moving slightly.

for me i know that hitting the curb was definately the cause because the noise wasnt there before...
but idk what exactly to investigate. i was hoping someone that had the same problem before would chime in :)

Jack that side up, Set the car on stands, Leave the jack under it, Start pulling forward and backward in a parallel line with the cars movement and see if anything makes noise, Try rotating the rotors back and forth the same.
