Hmm Stop Motion? What is this you speak of? Your probably asking yourself what this might be (unless your into photography or something).

Well not too long ago i found out about Stop motion and its pretty cool on how it works, so i thought I'd share it with everyone. It's funny because you've probably seen stop motion pictures, films or even tv shows without even realizing it, but you when you watch it and realize what it is your like OHHHHHHHHH i get it know :p.

Basically "Stop motion (pop. frame-by-frame) is a generic general term for an animation technique which makes static objects appear to move. The object is moved by very small amounts between individual frames, producing the effect of motion when the film is played back, as in conventional drawn and painted animation."

If you want to see two of the best stop motion films I've seen so far is

Tony vs. Paul
(They have a description of how they did it..etc on the site)

AND

Baby C'mon

**I was thinking of doing a stop motion film of building my supra from scratch to finish.**

Those are pretty impressive. I had heard of it, but never seen anything that in depth. The flying shit must have taken forever. Taking hundreds of pic and having to time it just right at the peak of every jump....

Wasn't South Park originally done like that too?

The new ones are computer animated, but I think the really old ones, at least the first one they ever did was in stop motion with construction paper cut outs.

All cartoons were done this way. Speaking of which, Bugs Bunny is the greatest!
