0.o apiphany!!! ok, I'll check em asap........

so uh..........just 1 ground would make all the lights not function?? 0.o?

can I re-ground them somewhere?

the housing's plastic, how da fuck does it conduct electricity???? or is it connected to a metal rod?

No they have to touch the metal housing you put the bulbs in....I just have too keep retightening the screws....

But this isn't your problem....your problem is elsewhere....

EDIT: Ok, I see it.. switch side. Still, I think it's miswired... somewhere there's a short and a break.

Did you put the bulbs in the right way? ive seen backwards bulbs back feed power to the parking light circuit witch would be dash and parking lights front and rear.

Read my edit... I was thinking white/green... sorry.

Regardless, the only place for you to have a mixed problem with those two circuits is at the failure module's harness or in the taillamp housing.

^ and the link you gave me said the same thing!!!

quote "Cut the green w/white wire and the red w/blue wire. Splice them together. Now cut the solid green wire and splice it to the green w/red wire."

I'm pretty sure I did it the right way though, I'll try it again just to be sure

Using a multimeter test for continuity across green, green/white and green/red.

I presume you have no knowledge of what your uncle's modifications involved? It's definitely possible he changed a couple things in such a way that nothing's going to work "by the book" until things are first returned to the expected state. Is the wiring he hacked in the same area?

he didn't really do anything to the wires, he just sort of jiggled a ground wire or something........... sigh,

besides, it happened BEFORE the rewire, which is why I decided to bypass the stupid LFM(which was all shorted out anyways)
