Ok, For how much this happens, it shouldn't, we had a massive post about wiring in kill switches. its a cheap mod and can save your car.
And make it viewable only by members with a certain amount of posts :naughty:

I agree with you i was thinking of editing my post T.M.I. about the xxxxxxx.

Speaking of keys use the JDM MKIII keys and ignition if you can get a set no US toyota keys match them at all!

How to wire in a kill switch = easy
Wire into series with any of these components

The ground wire that goes into the [Theft Deturent Computer] Which also comes out through the computer then wire next to it on the diffrent row goes into the Starter relay coil.
[Fuel Pump]
[Fuel Pump Relay]
[Ignition]
[NSW Switch]
[Clutch Switch](people could still push start your car though)
[Starter seleniod](people could still push start your car though)
[Crank Angle Sensor]
[Batterys](yep some batterys i saw sold comes with built in switch and remote dunno if still exsist but did see it one point people could still push start your car though)!

I really hope you recover your car I dont mean to steal your thread or tell crooks what they already know, but if we know just even half what they know we can slow them down or stop them.
Any of these items would be perfect for kill switches.

If leaving it at an airport/mall or someplace overnight where its a hi theft hot spot Do this, remove the distributer if it haves one take the rotor with you or leave the cap off & loose.

1jzgte/2jzgte if non-distributer type take the ignitor pack with you.

You could even grab the main EFI relay in the main fues block throw in your pocket done.

Put your car on air bags drop it to the ground remove air compressor power wire or put kills switch on that(best part is they can not even tow your car away if its on the ground)
There is 100's of ways to protect your car.

The reason I recomend using a hidden GPS tracking device is because some proffesional crooks are so clever they also have enclosed trailers with wenches inside them. Some even have Tow Trucks. Not even the best alarms can stop a crook if he wants it bad enough come on did you see gone in 60 seconds ? There is also car alarm Science kits that allow crooks to snoop onto your car alarm key fob record it & clone it car alarms suck and will not stop proffesionals.

I hope that you recover your car i dont mean to steal your thread if we all could learn half of what the crooks know then maybe we could prevent more. I dont mean to brodcast common knowledge that over half the crooks know allready but preventions is key to help our community protect our property.

We need more of this set up

This will make you feel better they catch mostly dumb crooks but thats a start! I enjoy watching these guys getting cought and beat!
