Stock Oil Cooler Return on Oil Pan Elimination

I've searched and most people put a bolt into the pan, which is 12mm X 1.25.

I'm thinking of having my pan welded shut

I thought the N/A oil Pan was different without the hole for the oil cooler, but apperently not.

I plan on going big turbo soon so would it be smart just to throw a bolt with Copper washer on?

A bolt and a washer will work just fine.

It's not like the oil pan is a high pressure location. Pop a plug in 'er and be done with it. I'm sure that there are better things that you could spend your money on,

If you want to get all hi tech get a stainless capscrew and a washer
