Any one know the size of the stock oil cooler hose? Mine are leaking badly, and I want to do a quick replacement so I can drive the car once in a while.

I'm going to do a complete oil cooler install, tstat, braided hoses, etc when I install the new engine, but just want to replace the lines quickly until then.

I don't want to order Toyota lines as my local dealer never has this kind of stuff in stock and don't want to wait for the parts from Jeff Watson.

Thanks,
Don

I just bought some rubber transmission oil cooler hose 3.8" from advance auto. Cheap and easy.

does this work well? my oil cooler hose popped laast night and i had to drive the car home with around a quart of oil in her... :(

I have used 3/8" "fuel injection" hose for mine before I upgraded my oiling system and had no issues with leaking. Worked good. IIRC it was .50 cents a foot at the parts store. Cheap and easy fix for you bud.

There's no way real fuel injection hose is .50/ft. More like $4/ft. You got hosed :)

Got to agree with Jet here....the stuff I bought was about 3.50 a foot and had the blue liner inside...real FI stuff...:)
