I replaced the stock MAP sensor with my GM 2 bar, seems to behave exactly the same. If I can get a 3bar, I'll see what happens. Its looking like I may have to modify the drive circuit. I really hate that delay.

Which would be easier: rescale the drive unit or just replace the sensor? I know I can get to the sensor easier. Plus, I can use the GM sensor as my pressure sensor for my LM-1 and boosted SAFC tune. I know the voltage scale for the GM sensor, not so much for the stock one.

Don't hold me to it but I'm pretty sure Jeff is correct in that the stock sensor will handle around 2 bar. Any sensor you repalce it with will still be going driving the drive circuit (a little box inside your combo meter) which in turn drives the stock gage so keep that in mind. There is no pot in the drive circuit (I'm staring at one as I write this) so some some resistors would need to be changed. If you need the new sensor to perform other functions that might be a better way to go.
