I had planned on upgrading sometime to a high output alternator, possibly this summer, mainly because I'd be upgrading my stereo system and throwing a little junk in my trunk.
I figured since I was upgrading the alternator that I would run e-fans mainly for appearance, ability to control them, and I know this has been debated but I figure the extra drag from the higher output alt would be negated by the clutch fan being removed, I don't have many HP to spare on an n/a.
My questions is, how much cfm does the stock fan flow? At idle and at certain rpms. I wanted to know the numbers just to compare because if the stock fan flows significantly more I'm just going to leave it in there.
Whatever numbers you have, let me know, I'm sure all the idle numbers will be the same but you might have different cfm for different rpm (3k, 4k, 5k etc.) but of course please don't just throw random figures unless you are sure of them. I also did a search on google and haven't found anything.
edit: Quick Q, can the 10-blade gte fan fit onto the ge?. /edit
