Hi guys, I tried searching for this answer but didn't find the answer I was looking for so I wonder if anyone on here can help me.

I have an exhaust manifold leak and I will have to change the gasket and the reason why its leaking is because I think one or a couple of the bolts aren't gripping right. I know the best way to fix this is to helicoil (sp) them but I hear you have to remove the engine and stuff to do that and it would be too much work.

So I was wondering if anyone knew the exact bolt size, pattern etc that I would have to use after I remove my manifold and would like to tighten them with longer screws to keep it tight.

Thank you for any answers and I'm sorry if this has been asked before.

I've changed a half of them. Just bored and made one size bigger thread. No problems so far.

All you had to do was search titles only with the word helicoil.

You need the M10 - 1.25 helicoil kit for the stock 7M exhaust manifold studs.

M10's can be installed with cylinder head on vehicle.

Incorrect.

Ok - studs are less likely to stip out your head because they dont apply a tensile force while twisting into the threads. They utilize the entire depth of thread to support the fastener.

Does that make you happy?
