I have a 87 7mgte & seem to have a starter issue. It's the 2nd starter I've put in the car and when I turn the key to start the engine , it seems to turn over whn it wants to. Sometimes instantly & others times it takes 30sec, 2min etc etc.. Anybody else experience this problem?

Regardless, check all ground wires, And make sure the connection is good on both ends.

Regardless, check all ground wires, And make sure the connection is good on both ends, its a little 14guage wire.
I've seen it where the wire that ground to the block will get really dirty just from over time and start losing connection, clean it
and bam they start perfect.
Ahh what the hell, sorry computer started lagging, mod delete this one please =/ sorry again.
The car will go "click, click, click" then go vroooom. Sometimes that click will happen for 30sec- 2 min. But eventually it would start or I would just pop tge clutch & be on my way
