Just was wondering how to tell the diff between the intake and ex stem seals.. I have a left over bag of them from a friend. And one set is light in color other set is dark. Haow do I know whitch sel is witch.. they are factory toyota but no part numbers on the bags

I can help you with that as I just changed mine.
02088 is the exhaust seal and should be grey
02123 is the inlet seal and should be bronze.

On this topic sort of. When changing valve stem seals on a 1j/2j how do you do it? I mean without taking the head off.
