Seen people just pull off the steering wheel and reclock it, however, this gives you more steering angle on one side than the other, so its generally a bad idea. If you recently got an alignment it sounds like shop failure, they should set the wheel straigh before they start working. If you havent had an alignment, then its possible that the steering wheel is right, however, your having to keep it turned to compensate for misalignment. Either way, fix is to take it to a reputable alignment shop (I like NTB).

Edit: Also could be someone removed the wheel and replaced it clocked wrong.

If you just bought your car and your wheels shake, make sure you have matching tires in the front, also make sure they are not defective - pass your hand over the tires and feel for bumps.
Either way, you need to visit an alignment shop for your wrong steering position.

tires are all the same.. Only driverside wheel seems to be a issue. Car doesnt pull one way or the other just the wheel is crooked. But yea when i have some money i will take it to a Alignment shop.

Its not a DD. As of right now.

Keep in mind just because it doesn't pull, doesnt mean its aligned.

Before you get an alignment center the steering wheel while parked and measure how many rotations you get from lock too lock....the previous owner may have pulled the steering wheel off before and didn't put it back correctly...

do you mean Center the tires (the wheel will be pointed to the right a bit) And then turn finding if the amount of rotations are the same. Or center the steering wheel (the tire's being pointed in one direction) and doing it.

I know you said Steering wheel but it seems that it might be more useful to start with the tire's pointing straight vs the steering wheel.

have the tires pointing straight and then put the wheel on in the correct position. also wheel balance will give you steering wheel shake.

edit: gaboon beat me to it.

Now center the front wheels and what's the lock to lock.

Looks like previous owner removed steering wheel and put it back crooked.

1.25 to the left 1.65 to the right. Aprox.

Steering wheel sits about .13 about a quarter to the right when tires are straight.

well put the wheels straight and then put the steering wheel in the center position. that will help the guy doing the alignment as well.

I have the same problem too. I bought the 90 supra with the steering wheel not straight but it doesn't seem to pull to any side either.

Noted.

No...center the steering wheel cause if your alignment is off then the steeringwheel lock to lock will be different.

I'm gonna do that test too right when I get my car running in a few days.

But they can still do it without me doing that, right?
