I found my boost guage today hiding in my glove compartment, so I needed to find a place to mount the guage. It dawned on me that my Sparco steering wheel doesn't have a center cap and is just the right size for my boost guage. I wrapped a ring of electrical tape around it to make it fit snug and set it in place As a bonus, the guage glows indiglo green (same as my guage cluster faces). Anyways, I want to know what you guys and gals think of my brilliant idea.

That's very clever, I didn't even see it at first. But eww for Faze

Only problem I could see is it's alittle low for a quick glance while driving, but looks much better than the wheel without a center piece.

I'd use the hole in the steering wheel that's for the horn and run the vacuum line and wires through that. If I make the wires and vacuum line long enough the tangling shouldn't be an issue, but I'll have to run a test fit first.

As for using the Faze guage, it's only temporary. I plan on getting a set of Prosport guages and mounting them in the guage cluster, along with more that will be mounted in a guage pillar.

love the ingenuity, the only thing is if u r not going straight forward it will get hard to read at a glance.
i have a guy at work that wants to sell me some faze gauges, i thought they were a good buy for the money.

That won't work... With the wheel rotating the vac line and wires will become twisted and get pulled off the gauge... thats why we have a slip ring for the wires for the horn...

And with the gauge being rotated, kinda hard to read boost...

Bad idea because it will be difficult to quickly glance at and may be confusing while turning. However, mounting it in a cup on top of the steering coloumn is a time honored favorite. That or get a pillar pod. They really don't cost much.
