i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to take the whole steering column out of the cab of the supra and replace it with one from my other car?

the reason is because the one that is in there has the gears so shot for the tilt and stuff that the steering wheel doesnt stay where i adjust it, so i need to swap it with the one from my other supra because my gears are still good. so if anyone could tell me step by step how to do it that would be awesome, pics would be awesome as well, thanks guys.

No pics, but basically you unbolt the cover plate at the fire wall, unbolt the coupler at the splines near the rack, remove the two 17mm bolts securing the column to the dash brace (under dashboard), unplug wiring and control boxes, and remove. It's fairly straight forward.

make sure the wheels are straight and mark where the coupler where it connect to the the sterring rack, otherwise you will have to pull the wheel and re-center it.
