Top stays on unless it's dark or theres some cloud cover. Driving in the sun is killer.

This. Unfortunately, living at high elevation sucks for this reason. I used to drive the SS with the T-tops in the trunk, the Miata with the roof down, and the Supra with the targa off whenever possible when I was living in Phoenix. Up here at 6500' though, forget it. Five minutes to sunburn anyone? No thanks.

^ must be nice. in a few weeks supra0089 and myself will be praying for 48 lol

Try about half that here last night. Targa's staying on until April or so, unless I get that bug up my ass to bundle up, crank the heat, and go driving with the top off and windows down just to screw with all the locals. :biglaugh:

Haha, very, very true. People in warmer climates think you're insane for asking how the pool has been around the holidays. :p

Doesn't really make much difference in my case, my targa still leaks pretty badly, so I get treated to a cold wet pant leg more often than I care to, gonna have to replace those side seals soon I think.

GAHHH!!! the infamous drip. i always take off from home thinking, "Oh cool no leak this time!" then as soon as i hit that first right turn.... DAMNIT!!!!! wet leg, ruined a few cigarettes that way too lol. but when i do remember it rained the night before i will put a shirt or something on my leg to catch the water.

A shirt on the leg? Hmm... now I feel like an idiot for not thinking of that myself. Actually just realized I have a shamwow, that'll do even better I think. So, fixing the side seals should fix that drip huh? I guess that's one way of staying cool with the targa on. :p

Gonna sound like a ghetto-mod (okay, well it is) ...

I put electrical along the sides of the targa, effectively sealing the drip rails (between targa skin and trim piece) and I had no leaks what so ever from the targa anymore. Trust me, it isn't the seals. I replaced all 4 of mine at the same time and still had the same damn leak. Sealed up that drip rail and no more leak :D

Hey Moy, ghetto mods are better than frozen pants when it gets as cold as it does here, thanks for the tip! :)
