Here are a few videos of my supra after i replaced the HG. No, the HG is not blown. lol It runs decent in the second video. Still need to change the oil twice more, and oil filters. As well as replace the timing belt. Vac lines. I guess i need another VSV. And CSI. It is throwing codes but haven't checked them yet. Any comments or opinions let me know.

Here's the first one. Oil still milky. Left over coolant burning off

Here it is after warmed up. She died a few times but then started right back up. No more smoke. :icon_surp

either that or your plugs are fouled or wires are in incorrect places ( TSRM IS WRONG!) or wires are bad, or coils are bad or a bad ground in the spark system. (less likely)

Well im gunna check everything this saturday. There are some vac lines that are missing. And I guess a vsv that goes underneath the intake manifold.

As a matter of fact ill take some pictures of where the vac lines are absent and maybe get some ideas.

wow i dunno how i missed this, grats on gettin her running!

that may very well be the timing causing the noise, but you really need to check the codes. its a minute and a paperclip, and it helps a lot.

My car did the same sputter due to an extremely dirty throttle body plate. A little wire brushing did the trick for me. When that plate doesn't remain shut for any reason the motor will try and die out.

P.S. Did you have that on craigs list a while back? I think I tried buying that off you, lol.

Fouled spark plugs maybe?
CPS is off a tooth?
Is your intake mani and throttle bodies well sealed?
Did you modify your EGR in any way?

timing sounds retarded.

True that. I'll have to check the cps. Didn't think of that, I figured it was fine. Maybe I'll take another video of it running tomorrow. Only thing is I need a new timing belt.

Sounds like timing.... Mine did the same thing after a headgasket job....I freaked out and but then timed it and the engine purrs like a kitten now.
